Eating Vegan On A Budget

In this blogpost I want to speak to you about eating vegan on a budget. It is a total misconception that being vegan is expensive. It can be but typically this is if you only consume processed vegan food but if you focus on consuming plant based wholefoods it is not expensive at all.

Press PLAY on the video below to hear how you can be eating vegan on a budget. Below the video I have list of cheap healthy foods to consume.

Here is a list of inexpensive foods you can eat :

muesli (there are expensive ones but also same quality but less expensive )
fruit and veg (shop around)
all grains like rice, couscous, quinoa and pasta
chickpeas, lentils, butter beans, kidney beans etc

Tell me what is expensive in that list? Now if you don’t shop around you can see yourself spending far more on certain products than you would in another shop. This is where I advise you to shop around. It is worth the sacrifice as why pay more when you don’t have to? Get familiar with the grocery stores and markets and farmers markets in your area.

As I said once you avoid most of the processed vegan foods (which you should not consume much of anyway) and focus on consuming mainly wholefood you will not spend more than anyone else does that eats meat. In fact you will likely see yourself spending less.

Please feel free to place your comments and questions below this video in the comments section. Let us know what foods you buy that are not expensive and also feel free to post any questions you have about anything I have said in the video or about any products that you buy. I may be able to suggest a cheaper alternative or shopping location.
