Benefits Of Going Vegan

In this blogpost I speak about the benefits of going vegan of which there are many. Whether you are a non vegan needing to know these benefits or a vegan needing a reminder this video should be useful information. So what are the benefits of going vegan?

As I said in the video above there are so many but let’s just go through a few of them. The vegan diet is fantastic if you want to increase energy as what you feed yourself determines your energy levels. Stop waking up tired, having afternoon slump and in general feeling lethargic with a wholefood plant based diet. You will feel this benefit within days and it will even impact your sleep quality.

How about exercise? Consuming a diet made up mainly of plant based foods will see your training performance increase and most importantly your recovery post exercise. Foods packed full of antioxidants and in particular chlorophyll are the key building blocks for your body now whey protein or creatine as the supplement industry would like you to believe.

The plant based lifestyle also impacts your skin. If you are serious about having healthy skin, hair and nails then plant based nutrition is what you need. Our skin is our largest organ and reflects how healthy you are on the inside and what nutrition is going into your body. Consume a vegan diet and you will notice a big difference in your hair ,skin and nails within a week or 2.

What bout diseases? Adopting a plant based diet is how to prevent diseases as they are all lifestyle diseases and if you follow a vegan diet that is predominantly alkaline then diseases can’t survive in your body. So focus on prevention instead of treatment.

There are so many benefits of going vegan of which the above are a few. I hope what I have shared has made you think about the food you eat and I hope you will now consider adopting a plant based diet if you are not already following one.
